Saint Alphonsus Medical Center appoints new president: 5 points

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, Idaho, selected Travis Leach to serve as president, according to an Idaho Press-Tribune report.

Here are five points:

1. Mr. Leach most recently served as the hospital’s regional director of surgical services.

2. His prior experience at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center includes serving as director of perioperative services and director of administrative services.

3. He came to Saint Alphonsus in 2010, before which he was COO at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise.

4. Mr. Leach was also CEO and founder of Alliance Family Services in Twin Falls, Idaho, a mental health practice.

5. He succeeds Karl Keeler, who left the role in November 2017.
