1. Mr. Lawrence has served as leader of Central Michigan Community Hospital, now known as McLaren Central Michigan, since 2008.
2. During his tenure, McLaren Central Michigan played a key role in establishing the Isabella Citizens for Health, a federally qualified health center. The hospital was also twice named a Top 100 Hospital by Truven Health Analytics.
3. Mr. Lawrence’s prior experience includes serving as president and CEO of six community hospitals in Ohio and working at Cleveland Clinic, where he served in several leadership positions.
4. He received the Michigan Health & Hospital Association’s Health Care Leadership Award in 2012.
5. The hospital started the search for Mr. Lawrence’s successor.
