Tulane University Medical Group has selected Practical Data Solutions, a data warehousing and analytics software firm, to provide its revenue cycle and patient access performance management reporting solutions.
PDS, a Southbury, Conn.-based company, will provide its iMPower Analytics suite to the medical group, which is a part of the New Orleans-based Tulane University School of Medicine. The program will provide visualized data on dashboards to the management team to help streamline the practice's financial practices, according to a news release.
Patient access performance is a key indicator in quality measures and a part of CMS' initiative to transition the healthcare industry to a value-based reimbursement system. Tulane University Medical Group aims to improve its data reporting to executives, administrators and physicians, according to the news release.
