Allscripts and Hospital IQ, a hospital performance management platform, have entered a strategic agreement in which Allscripts clients will have access to Hospital IQ's predictive analytics platform.
The partnership seeks to help hospitals align resources to optimize efficiency surrounding business intelligence and operations.
"Hospitals are under immense financial and logistical pressure," said Rick Poulton, Allscripts president, in a statement. "[Allscripts] EPSi customers will have unparalleled capability to achieve enterprise-level financial objectives by integrating dynamic operational planning tools into the strategic budgeting process."
