ACC, Heartbeat Health partner to provide virtual cardiology care

The American College of Cardiology partnered with Heartbeat Health to create a virtual care platform for cardiologists to use for patients to make informed clinical care decisions.

What you should know:

1. Cardiology practices already pivoted to telehealth to continue seeing patients during the COVID-19-related shutdowns. The new platform will incorporate diagnostics, management plans and therapeutic options.

2. Heartbeat Health markets its platform as a "tailored treatment plan for patients across all stages of heart and vascular disease and sites of service including the hospital, skilled nursing, cardiac rehabilitation and the home."

3. All ACC members have access to the platform.
