Waterville, Maine-based Northern Light Inland Hospital is set to build a new simulation center to teach healthcare skills next to its 48-bed hospital, centralmaine.com reported Feb. 21.
The center will be built through a partnership with the West Lafayette, Ind.-based Purdue Global School of Nursing. The center will feature manikins and audio and visual simulation tools designed to replicate a hospital environment.
The center is set to open in early spring.
