5 latest FDA approvals

Here are the five latest drugs or medical devices approved by the Food and Drug Administration since August 4.

  1. Mavyret is intended to treat adults with all types of chronic hepatitis C virus with mild or no cirrhosis who have not previously received treatment for the
    illness.

  1. Besponsa is used to treat adults with relapsed or refractory B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

  1. Vyxeos is intended to treat adults with two types of high-risk acute myeloid leukemia.

  1. Lynaparza may now be used for the ongoing treatment of patients with recurrent ovarian cancer who have responded to platinum-based chemotherapy.

  1. Serrato Pedicle Screw is intended for use in non-cervical procedures with the Xia 3 Spinal System.
