Britain offers American physician assistants 2 months of vacation and cash to relocate

In response to the Britain's physician shortage, the country's National Health Service is trying to attract American physician assistants by offering 41 days of paid vacation and $1,350 to cover relocation costs, according to The Daily Mail.

The NHS hopes to recruit 3,200 PAs and promises to pay for flights home during holidays for any American physician assistants hired. All non-British PAs will earn $40,460 annually.

"The UK is also perfectly placed for taking trips short trips overseas to other countries," NHS promotional material advertises. "You can reach most European destinations in just a few hours from London which makes the UK a fantastic travel hub from which to explore Europe and even further afield."
