8 healthcare organizations adding jobs

The following healthcare organizations shared plans to add jobs since Sept. 18, starting with the most recent.

1. 20 hospitals hiring nurses
Here are 20 hospitals and health systems that recently posted job listings seeking nurses.

2. HCA plans to build 3 freestanding ERs, 4 urgent care clinics in Florida
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare plans to invest $32 million to build three freestanding emergency rooms and four urgent care clinics in central Florida. The facilities are expected to create more than 150 jobs.

3. Outcome Health to add 2,000 jobs by 2022
Outcome Health, a Chicago-based health IT company, will add 2,000 jobs in Chicago by 2022.

4. Orlando Health's $37M skilled nursing facility to create hundreds of jobs
Orlando (Fla.) Health's skilled nursing facility at the Health Central Hospital campus in Ocoee, Fla., is expected to bring hundreds of construction and healthcare jobs to the area.

5. Missouri hospitals to participate in hiring fair for veterans
Various Missouri healthcare organizations participated in a job fair Sept. 26 focused on veterans.

6. Minnesota Security Hospital seeks to fill 50 jobs
Minnesota Security Hospital, a psychiatric facility in St. Peter, scheduled a job fair last month to help fill 50 open positions.

7. Children's Hospital Colorado to create 700 healthcare positions
Children's Hospital Colorado's new facility in Colorado Springs is expected to create 700 hospital jobs.

8. St. Francis takeover deal expected to create 687 new jobs over 10 years
The planned takeover of St. Francis Health in Topeka, Kan., by Kansas City-based University of Kansas Health System and Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health Services is expected to create 687 jobs over the next decade.
