Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System has acquired Tolnitch Surgical Associates, a private surgical practice focused on breast cancer and disease, according to a Herald Sun report.
The three-surgeon group will merge with Duke's Private Diagnostic Clinic on Oct. 1. It is the fourth specialty group in Wake County Duke has acquired in the past three years.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
