Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center Health Network appointed Robert S. Ross, executive vice president for the Northern region.

1. Mr. Ross most recently served as COO at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
2. He formerly served as president and CEO of St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, N.Y.
3. He holds a master of health services administration degree from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
4. In his new role, Mr. Ross will help oversee and work with MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus in Kingston, N.Y.; HealthAlliance Hospital Mary's Avenue Campus; and Margaretville (N.Y.) Hospital.
