Mercy Health — Lourdes in Paducah, Ky., selected Polly Bechtold to serve as regional quality officer for Mercy Health's Kentucky region, according to a West Kentucky Star report.
Here are three points:
1. In her new role, Ms. Bechtold will oversee quality and performance improvement at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah and Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital in Irvine, Ky.
2. She previously worked at Baptist Health Paducah, where she was clinical informatics director for the West region.
3. She is a member of the Kentucky Organization of Nurse Leaders and Kentucky Hospital Association.
