Laguna Hills, Calif.-based MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center hired Kelli Ruiz to serve as vice president of business development.

1. Previously, Ms. Ruiz served as vice president of strategy and business development at MemorialCare Long Beach (Calif.) Medical Center and MemorialCare Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach.
2. She also has experience serving as vice president of operations at Surgical Care Affiliates, an ambulatory surgery center development and management company.
3. She has also held leadership roles with DaVita, a national kidney care provider.
