BJC Healthcare tapped Doug Black to serve as vice president of operations for Christian Hospital, effective Sept. 16. Both entities are based in St. Louis.

1. Mr. Black is currently vice president of operations for BJC Medical Group.
2. He has worked at BJC for 14 years.
3. Previously, he has served as president of Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in Creve Coeur, Mo., and as vice president of operations at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
