This is the first telemedicine provider to connect to the HIE.
Mark McKinney, CEO of Hixny, said in a statement adding the telemedicine provider adds a vast new source of data, and will continue to do so as telemedicine becomes more highly utilized.
“It adds another source of data that, until recently, our participants didn’t have access to. More and more people will be taking advantage of telemedicine in the future, so connecting these practices to Hixny gives our primary care providers more access to more data,” he said.
