Innovaccer, a healthcare data company, named Stephen K. Klasko, MD, to its Strategic Advisory Council.
Dr. Klasko is president and CEO of Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health, a role he has held since 2013. During his tenure, Jefferson Health has grown from three hospitals in 2015 to 14 hospitals. He was previously CEO of Tampa-based USF Health and dean of the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Klasko has authored numerous books, including Bless This Mess: A Picture Story of Healthcare in America. He is the founding editor of the journal Healthcare Transformation.
Innovaccer's Strategic Advisory Council also includes Glenn Steele Jr., MD, former president and CEO of Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System, and Phil Fasano, former CIO of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.
