Ordr launches new platform for clinics to secure their connected devices

Cybersecurity company Ordr has released Ordr Clinical Defender 8.1 to secure connected clinical devices.

Clinical Defender 8.1 adds the Ordr Software Inventor Collector and integration with cybersecurity software CrowdStrike and data collection software CrowdStrike Humio. The new features are designed for clinics to manage different types of devices on the same network, according to an Aug. 31 Ordr news release.

"Simply put, healthcare technology management teams require more efficient ways to monitor devices and vulnerabilities in an ever-expanding healthcare environment," said Pandian Gnanaprakasam, Ordr chief product officer and co-founder. "Ordr Clinical Defender allows each user to focus on the specific devices they're responsible for, from a single screen, and helps them understand, prioritize and manage vulnerability workflows based on full business context. This will ultimately improve efficiencies and enhance patient safety."
