Gastonia, N.C.-based CaroMont Regional Medical Center opened its $90 million critical care tower this month.
The 176,811-square-foot development added 78 patient rooms to the hospital campus. Each floor includes patient rooms, support space, and staff and family spaces.
The project, which was designed by a multidisciplinary team of medical, clinical and operational experts, is part of CaroMont's commitment to invest more than $350 million in and around Gaston County.
