Dispatch Health, an app that provides on-demand care to patients, has expanded its service to Las Vegas, according to LasVegasNow.com.
The startup was founded in Denver in 2013 and aims to keep people who suffer from minor ailments out of the emergency room, according to Christine Greimann, Dispatch Health's director of market development.
"So, we all know that tons of people are using the emergency department for things like pneumonia, dehydration or the flu. Needs that really can be treated safely outside of the walls of the hospital or even in the home," Ms. Greimann told LasVegasNow.com
Patients can request Dispatch Health services online, through a mobile app or by phone.
