John Glaser, PhD, is a senior vice president with Cerner. Dr. Glaser, previously the CEO of the health services business unit of Siemens Healthcare, joined Cerner after the company's acquisition of the Siemens Health Services unit.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Glaser has served as vice president and CIO of Partners HealthCare, as well as vice president of information systems at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
He has also a number of leadership positions with industry organizations. Dr. Glaser was the founding chairman of the College of Health Information Management Executives and past president of the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society.
Dr. Glaser completed his health information systems PhD at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
