NIH Awards Grants to 9 Healthcare Organizations for Study of Heart Failure

The National Institutes of Health has awarded grants to nine healthcare organizations, including a joint effort among the Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth Medical Center and University Hospitals Case Medical Center, to study heart failure, according to a Plain Dealer report.

 



The National Heart Failure Clinical Research Network is intended to boost and quicken research and clinical trials on heart failure interventions. The research funding will be distributed to awardees in seven-year cycles.
