Hospitals and health systems across the country are making key leadership changes in their IT departments, with several organizations appointing new chief information officers to drive digital transformation and innovation.

- Adam Landman, MD, has been named chief digital information officer of Providence, R.I.-based Brown University Health.
- Terri Couts, RN, was named chief digital information officer of San Diego-based Sharp HealthCare.
- Ganesh Persad was named CIO of Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Cottage Health.
- Joel Klein, MD, will become chief digital information officer of Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health on Sept. 15.
- Jason Ickert has been named CIO of Dallas-based Medical City Healthcare, which is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
- Ralph Porpora has been named vice president of information services and CIO of Browns Mills, N.J.-based Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
- Chris Akeroyd was named CIO of Fort Myers, Fla.-based Lee Health.
- Clara Guixa was named CIO and digital officer of Baystate Health.
- Edmund Siy was named chief information and technology officer of Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health.
- Benjamin Mansalis, MD, was named of chief information and digital officer of Milwaukee-based Children’s Wisconsin.
- Kevin Shorten was named vice president and chief information and technology officer of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, based in Santa Clarita, Calif.
- Pankaj Jandwani, MD, was named CIO of Midland, Mich.-based MyMichigan Health.
- Julie Eastman was named CIO of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth.
- Michael Waisbrot is taking on the responsibilities tied to the chief information and digital officer role on an interim basis at Madison, Wis.-based UW Health.
- Jesus Delgado was named chief digital and information officer of Concord (N.H.) Hospital Health System.
- Cherodeep Goswami was named CIO of Renton, Wash.-based Providence.
- Leo Bodden was named CIO of Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center Health Network.
