Jason Ickert has been named CIO of Dallas-based Medical City Healthcare, which is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

Mr. Ickert has been with Medical City Healthcare for more than 25 years, most recently as division director of operations, overseeing IT operations and strategic initiatives across 22 Texas and Louisiana facilities. He replaces Vince Doyle, who was promoted to CIO of HCA Healthcare’s American Group.

“Under Jason’s guidance, we have seen measurable improvements in IT performance, including reduced service disruptions and the implementation of standardized maintenance protocols — enhancing the overall technology experience for our care teams,” Mr. Doyle said in a June 27 news release. “His commitment to innovation and operational excellence has consistently advanced our mission.”

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
