Ralph Porpora has been named vice president of information services and CIO of Browns Mills, N.J.-based Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
Mr. Porpora most recently served as hospital systems director of Sellersville, Pa.-based Grand View Health, where he led IT, innovation and data analytics efforts. He has also worked for Flemington, N.J.-based Hunterdon Health, where he oversaw EHR transitions, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
“Ralph’s proven track record of aligning technology with patient care goals and his visionary leadership in IT strategy make him an exceptional addition to the Deborah executive team,” Deborah President and CEO Jim Andrews said in a June 25 news release. “Ralph’s insights and experience will be instrumental to our efforts in advancing not just the quality of care but how people are engaged across the organization.”
