Benjamin Mansalis, MD, has been named chief information and digital officer of Milwaukee-based Children’s Wisconsin.

Dr. Mansalis will oversee IT, digital innovation, cybersecurity and the optimization of the health system’s Epic EHR.

“After a comprehensive national search, Dr. Mansalis proved he was the right person for the role,” Children’s Wisconsin President and CEO Gil Peri said in a May 12 news release. “As a transformational leader, he creates a collaborative environment and showed he understood and appreciated the Children’s Wisconsin values and culture.”

Dr. Mansalis was most recently chief digital and information officer of Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health after serving as vice president and CIO of Oklahoma City-based Integris Health.
