Idaho Health Data Exchange launches HIE clinical portal

Clinicians in Idaho using the Idaho Health Data Exchange now have access to a clinical portal, providing a single view of patient data between healthcare organizations.

The Clinical Portal, developed by Orion Health, allows its 1,800 participating clinicians to access and view information from anywhere at any time with the hope this access will improve clerical and clinical workflow.

Orion Health worked with vendors Galen Healthcare and Iatric Systems to develop the portal.

"The IHDE is excited to partner with our new vendor Orion Health. With enhanced functionality, the Clinical Portal is able to meet the emerging needs of the state and regional healthcare communities to help streamline their workflow with improved access to patient data," said Scott Carrell, executive director, of Idaho Health Data Exchange.
