The contest, sponsored by Accenture, honored teams from CMS, FDA, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and U.S. Defense Health Agency, among other federal agencies, that had developed innovative health IT programs.
The selected programs included the U.S. Defense Health Agency’s patient portal for military hospitals and clinics, the HHS Health Resources & Services Administration’s telehealth resource center and the VA’s genetic diagnostic testing system that delivers genetic test results via mobile app.
