Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week.

The moves are listed below, in alphabetical order by the executive's last name.

1. Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, La., selected W. Dore Binder, MD, to serve as CMO.

2. Chapel Hill, N.C.-based University of North Carolina System appointed A. Wesley Burks, MD, CEO of UNC Health Care, dean of the UNC School of Medicine and vice chancellor for medical affairs at UNC-Chapel Hill.

3. Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System appointed Brian Charlier president and CEO of HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center, both in Green Bay, Wis.

4. Kingwood (Texas) Medical Center, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, tapped John Corbeil to serve as CEO, effective Jan. 14.

5. Jamestown (N.D.) Regional Medical Center appointed Michael Delfs CEO, effective March 1.

6. Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center in Bandon, Ore., selected Alan Dow to serve as interim CEO.

7. Baton Rouge, La.-based Our Lady of the Lake Children's Health selected Trey Dunbar, MD, to serve as president.

8. Gene Faile, president of North Wilkesboro, N.C.-based Wilkes Medical Center, will retire Jan. 31.

9. Bethlehem, Pa.-based St. Luke's University Health Network named Frank Ford president of St. Luke's Sacred Heart Campus in Allentown, Pa.

10. LaGrange-based WellStar West Georgia Medical Center President Jerry Fulks is retiring Jan. 11.

11. Delray Beach, Fla.-based Delray Medical Center selected Stephen Garner to serve as COO, beginning in 2019.

12. Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health appointed Lisa Gutierrez chief diversity and inclusion officer.

13. Ruth E. Hennessey will serve as president of West Islip, N.Y.-based Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

14. Paul Janke, president and CEO of Coos Bay, Ore.-based Bay Area Hospital, is retiring in early January 2019, ending a 10-year tenure.

15. Brunswick-based Southeast Georgia Health System named Christy D. Jordan, RN, COO and general counsel.

16. Dignity Health's Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif., appointed Ken Keller president and CEO, effective Dec. 24.

17. Marie Knedler, BSN, MSN, president of CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs (Iowa), is retiring in February.

18. Medical City McKinney (Texas) tapped Jaya Kumar, MD, to serve as CMO, effective in February.

19. Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey (Calif.) Hospital named Joanne Laguna-Kennedy, MSN, RN, vice president of hospital operations and chief nursing officer.

20. Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah, tapped Ryan LeMasters to serve as COO.

21. Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives' Texas Division named Bradley T. Lembcke, MD, division senior vice president and CMO.

22. Knoxville, Tenn.-based Tennova Healthcare selected Matthew Littlejohn to serve as CEO for Newport (Tenn.) Medical Center, effective Jan. 2.

23. Covington, Ga.-based Piedmont Newton Hospital named Lauren Matthews its permanent CFO.

24. Providence St. Joseph Health has appointed Microsoft's former cloud and artificial intelligence executive B.J. Moore as its next CIO, a position he will assume Jan. 28.

25. Bethlehem, Pa.-based St. Luke's University Health Network tapped John Nespoli to serve as president of the St. Luke's Lehighton, Pa.-based Gnaden Huetten and Palmerton (Pa.) campuses. 

26. Callaway (Neb.) District Hospital CEO Marvin Neth retired.

27. St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, N.Y., promoted James O'Connor to president.

28. Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Health tapped William B. Pryor to serve as chief administrative officer, a newly created role.

29. Joseph P. Ross, president and CEO of Hagerstown, Md.-based Meritus Health, retired.

30. Peter Scaminaci will serve as president of Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, N.Y.

31. Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health selected Rasu B. Shrestha, MD, to serve as executive vice president and chief strategy officer, effective in February 2019.

32. Cavalier County Memorial Hospital in Langdon, N.D., named Jeff Stanley CEO, effective Dec. 17.

33. Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health Services of Long Island named Ron Steimel senior vice president for business development.

34. Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute appointed James Terwilliger executive vice president and COO, effective Feb. 18.

35. Gerald Worrick, president and CEO of Sturgeon Bay, Wis.-based Door County Medical Center plans to retire Jan. 5.

36. Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare selected Kathi Whalen to serve as senior vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer.
