Delray Medical Center appoints COO: 3 things to know

Delray Beach, Fla.-based Delray Medical Center selected Stephen Garner to serve as COO, beginning in 2019. He will also serve as group COO for Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare’s Palm Beach hospitals.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Garner most recently served as COO at Abrazo Arrowhead Hospital in Glendale, Ariz.

2. He earned his MBA and juris doctorate at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

3. In his new role, Mr. Garner will oversee day-today operations at Delray Medical Center as well as coordinate operations at Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Medical Center and West Boca (Fla.) Medical Center as well as St. Mary’s Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center, both located in West Palm Beach, Fla.
