The promotion came as Jerry Murray, the hospitals’ former president, became vice president of special projects for the central region of Pittsburgh-based UPMC. He had led UPMC Altoona and the former Altoona Regional Health System since 2008.
Ms. Fisher previously served as COO at Williamsport, Penn.-based UPMC Susquehanna and CEO of Wellsboro, Penn.-based Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital.
