WellStar West Georgia Medical Center president to retire: 4 things to know
LaGrange-based WellStar West Georgia Medical Center President Jerry Fulks is retiring Jan. 11, 2019, according to The LaGrange Daily News.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Fulks has served as president of the hospital for nearly 20 years.
2. During his tenure, the hospital adopted an EHR system, developed a four-story patient tower and joined Marietta, Ga.-based WellStar Health System.
3. He holds a master of science degree in health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
4. Coleman Foss, CEO of Tennova Healthcare-Cleveland (Tenn.), will succeed Mr. Fulks at WellStar West Georgia.
