1. New York City-based NYC Health + Hospitals named Eric Wei, MD, its inaugural chief quality officer.

2. Morgantown, W. Va.-based WVU Medicine named Steve Altmiller president and CEO of Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, W. Va., effective Jan. 15, 2018.

3. Kearney (Neb.) Regional Medical Center CEO Larry Speicher is stepping down from his role.

4. Oskaloosa, Iowa-based Mahaska Health Partnership selected Kevin DeRonde to serve as CEO, effective Feb. 19, 2018.

5. Eureka, Calif.-based St. Joseph Health, Humboldt County named Roberta Luskin-Hawk, MD, chief executive, effective Feb. 1, 2018.

6. C. Todd Jones, president of Baptist Health Richmond (Ky.), is resigning, effective Jan. 26, 2018.

7. Covington, La.-based Lakeview Regional Medical Center appointed Jennifer Schmidt, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer.

8. Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Calif., tapped Colette Menzel, PhD, to serve as COO.

9. Chris J. Osentowski will serve as chief development officer for Medical City Plano (Texas) and Medical City Frisco (Texas), a Medical City Plano facility.

10. Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health appointed Joe Reppert CFO, effective Feb. 1, 2018.

11. Athens, Ga.-based St. Mary's Health Care System selected Montez Carter to serve as its permanent president and CEO, effective immediately.

12. Steward Health Care's St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, Mass., selected Dicken S. C. Ko, MD, to serve as vice president of medical affairs and CMO.

13. Cleveland-based University Hospitals hired William W. Brien, MD, to serve as chief quality and medical officer.

14. Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kan., recently appointed Ryan Pugh CFO and Jay Fogg chief nursing officer.

15. Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare named Michael Cruz, MD, permanent CEO for the central region.

16. Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente tapped Kathryn Beiser to serve as senior vice president and chief communications officer, effective Jan. 8, 2018.

17. University of Miami Health System permanently appointed Edward Abraham, MD, executive vice president for health affairs and CEO.

18. St. Louis-based Ascension appointed Tim Adams to lead Ascension Tennessee.
