Here are four things to know:
1. Most recently, Mr. Marchozzi served as senior vice president and CFO of the acute care division at King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services, which operates 28 acute care hospitals.
2. He has previous experience serving as executive vice president and CFO at Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare as well as holding senior-level finance positions at MedStar Health in Columbia, Md., and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
3. He holds an MBA from Villanova (Pa.) University.
4. Mr. Marchozzi replaces Ed O’Dea, who will retire at the end of the year.
