Ottumwa (Iowa) Regional Health Center tapped Dennis Hunger to serve as COO, according to an Ottumwa Courier report.

1. Most recently, Mr. Hunger served as the CEO at Washington (Iowa) County Hospitals and Clinics.

2. He has also served as CEO of Logan Medical Center in Guthrie, Okla.

3. At the beginning of his career, he served as an administrative intern at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

4. He earned his MBA from the Iowa City-based University of Iowa.

5. Mr. Hunger takes over from Jason Hotchkiss, who has served as both CFO and COO of the hospital for the last few years.
