Riverside Health System names new chief clinical operations officer: 4 notes

Newport News, Va.-based Riverside Health System selected Michael Dacey, MD, to serve as executive vice president and chief clinical operations officer, effective Jan. 22, 2018.

Here are four notes:

1. Most recently, Dr. Dacey served as president and COO of Kent Hospital in Warwick, R.I.

2. He previously served as chief clinical integration officer at Providence, R.I.-based Care New England, Kent Hospital’s parent, where he also oversaw the Care New England Physician Organization.

3. He worked at Care New England for 17 years.

4. In addition to his medical degree and internal medicine residency, he completed a master of science in healthcare management at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston.
