Kent Hospital COO Dr. Michael Dacey resigns: 4 things to know

Michael J. Dacey Jr., MD, president and COO of Kent Hospital in Warwick, R.I., is resigning for a new job opportunity, according to a Cranston Online report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Dacey is leaving to serve as executive vice president of Riverside Healthcare System in Newport News, Va.

2. During his tenure, Dr. Dacey oversaw clinical advancements, including the development of a coronary angioplasty program.

3. He previously served as CMO and integration officer for Providence, R.I.-based Care New England.

4. Additionally, the hospital lost CMO Joseph W. Spinale, DO, who left in September for a new position.
