Steve Altmiller is Camden Clark Medical Center’s new CEO: 5 things to know

Morgantown, W. Va.-based WVU Medicine named Steve Altmiller president and CEO of Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, W. Va., effective Jan. 15, 2018.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Altmiller most recently served as president and CEO of Good Shepherd Health System in Longview, Texas.

2. He has previously held similar leadership roles at healthcare facilities in Mississippi, New Mexico, Alabama and South Carolina.

3. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

4. He holds an MBA from Tuscaloosa-based University of Alabama.

5. Mr. Altmiller succeeds David McClure, who is leaving to serve as vice president of strategic initiatives at Morgantown-based WVU Health System.
