20 hospitals with 6+ Magnet designations

Twenty of the 599 Magnet-designated hospitals have received the certification at least six times.

The American Nurses Credentialing Center awards hospitals Magnet designations based on quality patient care and nursing excellence, according to the organization's website. Hospitals with the award typically have high nurse job satisfaction and low levels of nurse burnout and RN turnover.

In the U.S., 9.7% of hospitals have a Magnet designation and about 0.3% are on this list of six-time designees.
