Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kan., appointed Kerry Tirman CEO, effective July 17.

2. Carolinas HealthCare System, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., named Brian Freeman to serve as Albemarle, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System Stanly president permanently.

3. St. Louis-based Ascension selected Jean Meyer, BSN, MSN, to serve in the newly established role of COO at Detroit-based Ascension Michigan, effective Aug. 1.

4. Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Health tapped Rick Weiner, MD, as CEO and CMO of Winchester (Mass.) Hospital, effective Oct. 1.

5. New London (N.H.) Hospital, affiliated with Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock, selected Lisa Cohen to serve as CFO.

6. Medical City Dallas named Kenneth Rothfield, MD, CMO, effective Aug. 14.

7. Townshend, Vt.-based Grace Cottage Family Health and Hospital CEO Roger Allbee announced his retirement plans.

8. Faribault, Minn.-based District One Hospital President Stephen Pribyl is retiring, effective Feb. 3, 2018.

9. Waconia, Minn.-based Ridgeview Medical Center appointed Michael Phelps president and CEO.

10. McLaren Flint (Mich.) Hospital selected Binesh Patel, MD, to serve as CMO.

11. Medical City Dallas hired Joyce Soule, BSN, MSN, to serve as CNO, effective Aug. 7.

12. Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring appointed Randy Surber CEO.

13. Little Rock-based University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Health System named Tim Hill COO.

20. Glens Falls (N.Y.) Hospital tapped Benjamin Katz, MD, to serve as vice president of medical affairs and CMO.

21. Hale Makua Health Services, based in Kahului, Hawaii, hired Scott Devore as its new CFO.

23. Lewis County General Hospital in Lowville, N.Y., named Gerald R. Cayer CEO.

24. The Rocky Mount, N.C.-based Nash UNC Health Care board of commissioners removed Larry Chewning from his position as president and CEO.

25. Mission (Texas) Regional Medical Center hired Kane Dawson to lead as CEO.
