Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Holy Cross Health named John Cunha, DO, chief medical officer, effective Sept. 1.
In this role, Dr. Cunha will oversee quality, safety and physician relations, according to a system news release.
He most recently served as interim CMO and completed a four-year term as president of medical staff. He first joined the Holy Cross Emergency Physician group in 2006, and has served in various leadership roles since.
