29 recent hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves have been reported by Becker's since Dec. 2:

1. Peter Wright was named CEO of St. Albans, Vt.-based Northwestern Medical Center.'

2. Lance Jones was named CEO of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare's Chippenham and Johnston–Willis hospitals, both in Richmond, Va.

3. Curtis Cole, MD, CIO for New York City-based Weill Cornell Medicine, was named inaugural vice president and chief global information officer of Ithaca, N.Y.-based Cornell University.

4. Tiffany Miller was named CEO of Yoakum (Texas) Community Hospital.

5. Luis Fernandez, DO, was selected to serve as chief medical officer of HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami.

6. Jimmy Duncan was named chief human resources officer of Oklahoma City-based OU Health.

7. Sherrie Vassallo was named vice president of operations at Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Health System.

8. Blair Kent was named CEO of MemorialCare Long Beach (Calif.) Medical Center and MemorialCare Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach.

9. Michelle Seaton, BSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of Paris, Tenn.-based Henry County Medical Center.

10. Nathan Fitton, DO, was named chief medical information officer of East Lansing, Mich.-based MSU Health Care.

11. Rick Carrico was named CFO of Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health.

12. Peter Fleischut, MD, was named chief information and transformation officer of New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian.

13. LeAnne Rowell, MSN, was named director of nursing at Brewton, Ala.-based D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital.

14. Toby Marsh, MSN, RN, was selected as chief nursing executive and vice president of clinical integration for Kaiser Permanente's Northern California region.

15. Randolph G. Howard Jr. was named COO of Catholic Health's St. Catherine of Siena Hospital in Smithtown, N.Y.

16. Jason Elliott was named senior vice president and chief human resources officer of Bedford, N.H.-based SolutionHealth.

17. Peter Marinoff was named president of Traverse City, Mich.-based Munson Healthcare's south region.

18. Debra Dulac, BSN, RN, was named senior vice president and CIO of New Bedford, N.H.-based SolutionHealth.

19. Leonard Stepp Jr. was named interim CEO of Cleveland Clinic-affiliated Ashtabula (Ohio) County Medical Center Healthcare System.

20. Patrick Battey, MD, CEO of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital and Piedmont's Atlanta hub, had his scope of duties increased. 

21. Lily Henson, MD, CEO of Stockbridge-based Piedmont Henry Hospital, was promoted to president and CEO of the Piedmont Augusta hub. 

22. Scott Hill, CEO of Piedmont Columbus Regional and peer CEO consultant for Piedmont Augusta's leadership team, was promoted to corporate senior vice president and CEO of the Piedmont Columbus hub. 

23. Stephen Porter, CEO of Fayetteville-based Piedmont Fayette Hospital, was promoted to corporate senior vice president. 

24. Kathy Donovan, MSN, RN, CEO of Children's Hospital of Michigan and Detroit Medical Center Group COO, is leaving the organization. She was named COO of Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System.
