Piedmont promotes 4 senior executives

Atlanta-based Piedmont has given promotions and expanded roles to four senior executives.

The new leadership team aims to help the 22-hospital system achieve its “lofty goals” for seamless, high-quality patient care, according to a Dec. 6 news release shared with Becker’s

Patrick Battey, MD, CEO of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital and Piedmont’s Atlanta hub, had his scope of duties increased. 

Lily Henson, MD, current CEO of Stockbridge-based Piedmont Henry Hospital, has been promoted to president and CEO of the Piedmont Augusta hub. 

Scott Hill, current CEO of Piedmont Columbus Regional and peer CEO consultant for Piedmont Augusta’s leadership team, has been promoted to corporate senior vice president and CEO of the Piedmont Columbus hub. 

Stephen Porter, CEO of Fayetteville-based Piedmont Fayette Hospital, has been promoted to corporate senior vice president.
