Most recently, Ms. Couts served as CIO for the Pennsylvania health system. In her new role, she will oversee the adoption of digital technologies at the Guthrie Clinic, according to a Dec. 2 Guthrie news release.

During her time as CIO, she helped Guthrie achieve Epic STARS 10 status.

“I am excited not only for the opportunity to lead our digital transformation at Guthrie but also for the impact that digital transformation can bring to our community and patients by giving people, both patients and caregivers, the right tools and information to advance a proactive approach to managing health,” Ms. Couts said.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
