23 latest hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Beaumont Health, based in Troy, Mich., appointed Mark Bohen senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer.

2. James Valek, MD, joined Chicago Family Health Center as CMO.

3. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick (N.J.) named Jessie L. Tucker III, PhD, senior vice president and COO.

4. New York City-based New York State Nurses Association Pension Plan Benefits Fund named Case Fell chief investment officer.

5. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare named Robert W. K. Webb senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective May 16.

6. Todd Mann was named CEO of McAllen (Texas) Medical Center.

7. Arlington Heights, Ill.-based AMITA Health named Deborah S. Fullerton vice president and chief marketing officer.

8. Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers, Ga., named Blake Watts COO.

9. Bill Masterton, CEO of Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C., resigned to take a new job in Louisiana.

10. Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health added a second CFO position to its Eastern Group leadership team to enhance the group's support of recent acquisitions and facilities. Conrad Deese, who most recently served as vice president of finance for the Eastern Group, will be promoted to Eastern Group CFO.

11. Mimbres Memorial Hospital in Deming, N.M., appointed Kelly Duke CEO, effective April 25.

12. Mercy Health - Cincinnati named various leaders in hopes of driving further integration between physician, clinical and operational leadership. Michael W. Garfield was named CEO and senior vice president of the Cincinnati Region. David Fikse was named COO of the Cincinnati Region, effective May 9. Erin Fries, MD, was named chief clinical officer of the Cincinnati Region. Justin McGoldrick, MD, was named CMO of acute care. Cari Ogg, MD, was named CMO of Mercy Health Physicians.

13. Redwood City, Calif.-based Verity Health System named Andrei Soran COO and president.

14. Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Ga., will welcome Deborah Armstrong as COO on May 2.

15. Minneapolis-based Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota named Todd Ostendorf CFO.

16. Los Angeles-based St. Vincent Medical Center named Frank Cracolici, RN, CEO.

17. Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center made Mark D. Sparta executive vice president and COO of the organization.

18. The American Hospital Association named Maureen Swick, PhD, RN, CEO of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and senior vice president, nursing of the AHA.

19. Camden, N.J.-based Lourdes Health System appointed Annmarie Horan as its chief human resources officer. 

20. Tufts Medical Center in Boston named Kristine M. Hanscom senior vice president and CFO.

21. Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network named Robert White, MD, CMIO, effective in May.

22. Kim Ryan was named president of WellStar Atlanta Medical Center and its south campus in East Point, Ga.

23. Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health named Shannon Fiser CFO of the company's Western Group of facilities, effective May 16.
