Chicago Family Health Center names new CMO: 3 things to know

James Valek, MD, has joined Chicago Family Health Center as CMO.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Valek.

1. He has more than 25 years of experience as a physician, healthcare administrator and executive director.

2. Prior to joining Chicago Family Health Center, he was medical director of Little Company of Mary Hospitals Hospice and Medical Groups in Chicago.

3. In his new role, Dr. Valek will provide clinical leadership and supervision of medical providers and staff at Chicago Family Health Center, according to a news release. He will also play a key role in further improving performance efficiencies, patient health outcomes and shaping policy for the organization.
