Here are four things to know about Mr. Duke.
1. Since 2014, he has served as assistant CEO of Carlsbad (N.M.) Medical Center.
2. During his tenure at CMC, the organization recruited several physicians in interventional cardiology, OB/GYN, pediatrics, surgery, primary care, radiation oncology and other fields, according to the report.
3. Mr. Duke was previously director of business development and marketing at MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, N.M.
4. At MMH, he will succeed Steve Westenhofer, who is retiring.
