Hospitals and health systems across the country are making key leadership changes in their IT departments, with several organizations appointing new chief information officers to drive digital transformation and innovation. 

Here’s a look at the latest CIO appointments reported by Becker’s since Jan. 17:

  1. Pankaj Jandwani, MD, was named CIO of Midland, Mich.-based MyMichigan Health.

  2. Julie Eastman was named CIO of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth.

  3. Michael Waisbrot is taking on the responsibilities tied to the chief information and digital officer role on an interim basis at Madison, Wis.-based UW Health.

  4. Jesus Delgado was named chief digital and information officer of Concord (N.H.) Hospital Health System.

  5. Cherodeep Goswami was named CIO of Renton, Wash.-based Providence.

  6. Leo Bodden was named CIO of Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center Health Network.

  7. David Burton was named CIO of Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health.

  8. Amar Nagaram was named associate CIO Indiana University Health.
