- Julie Ishak, MSN, RN, was promoted to chief nurse and operations executive of Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine. She has served as chief nursing executive since March 2024.
- Elizabeth Jackson, MD, has been named chief medical officer of Johnson City (Tenn.) Medical Center.
- Patricia “Trish” Price, DNP, RN, was named chief nursing officer at AdventHealth’s Georgia market.
- AdventHealth Altamonte Springs (Fla.) named David Goldman, DO, a long-time physician leader with the system, as chief medical officer. He has worked across several of the health system’s campuses in clinical and leadership roles over the past 25 years.
- Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health named Jeremy Hawker, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer of MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Md.
- Riverside (Calif.) Community Hospital — part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare — appointed Shesh Rao, MD, chief medical officer.
- Rodrigo Torres, MD, was appointed chief medical officer at AdventHealth Winter Park in Florida.
- Omaha-based Children’s Nebraska named Yatin Vyas, MD, executive vice president and chief physician executive. She will join the pediatric hospital in January.
- Deana Sievert, DNP, RN, joined Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center as chief nursing officer. Previously, she was CNO at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Ross Heart Hospital, both in Columbus.
- New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health named Launette Woolforde, EdD, DNP, as its next executive vice president and chief nursing officer. She succeeds Maureen White, RN, who is retiring after a 50-year career at the health system.
- HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee named Jack Atwater, MD, chief medical officer.
- ChristianaCare Cecil County Campus in Elkton, Md., promoted Joan Pirrung, MSN, APRN, to president. She had served as president in an interim capacity since March. Previously, she was chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care hospitals at the Wilmington, Del.-based system’s Union Hospital, also in Elkton, Md.
- In December, Matthew Fox, MD, will become chief medical officer of Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
