Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine has appointed Julie Ishak, MSN, RN, chief nurse and operations executive of its academic medical center, according to a Nov. 13 news release.
Ms. Ishak has served as chief nursing executive for the 12-hospital system since March 2024. Prior to that, she was CNO for ambulatory care and associate CNO for the medical group. Altogether, Ms. Ishak has more than 20 years of nursing and clinical operations experience.
“The new role recognizes her expertise in operations and creates a single point of leadership, responsibility and decision making for the academic medical center’s clinical operations,” the release said.
Michigan Medicine also announced a new role for Charles Reuland, ScD. Dr. Reuland, who currently serves as chief operations integration officer, will become the chief integration and support service officer Dec. 1.
