Here are 40 hospitals and health systems appointing new IT executives to their teams, as reported by Becker’s since Jan. 2.

  1. Alexander Khalessi, MD, was named chief innovation officer of UC San Diego Health.
  2. Darrell Keeling, PhD, was appointed chief technology officer and vice president of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations of Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Bronson Healthcare.
  3. Bridget Burshears, MD, was named chief medical informatics officer of Owensboro (Ky.) Health.
  4. Dennis Sutterfield was named senior vice president and CIO of Hershey, Pa.-based Penn State Health.
  5. Andrew Watt, MD, was named chief clinical integration and transformation officer of Nashua-based Southern New Hampshire Health.
  6. Darrell Keeling, PhD, was named chief technology officer of Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Bronson Health.
  7. Brian Sterns was named senior vice president and CIO of Froedtert ThedaCare Health, based in Wisconsin.
  8. Keith Morse, MD, was named chief medical informatics officer of Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Medicine Children’s Health.
  9. Petrena Saunders, BSN, RN, was named chief nursing informatics officer of Newark, Del.-based ChristianaCare.
  10. Tommy Korn, MD, was named chief spatial computing officer of San Diego-based Sharp HealthCare.
  11. James Hotaling, MD, has been appointed the inaugural chief innovation officer of Salt Lake City-based University of Utah Health.
  12. Donny Fan was named vice president of information technology at Whittier, Calif.-based PIH Health.
  13. Omar Gonzalez was named CTO of information technology and clinical engineering at Orlando Health.
  14. Colin Morelli was named vice president and AI product lead at Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health.
  15. Richard Medford, MD, was named chief digital information officer of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network.
  16. Terri Couts, RN, was named chief digital information officer of San Diego-based Sharp HealthCare.
  17. Tracy Griffin was named chief information security officer at Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health.
  18. Michael Hasselberg, PhD, RN, will take on the role of chief transformation and digital officer of Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine on Sept. 1.
  19. Clara Guixa was named CIO and digital officer of Baystate Health.
  20. Tamara Moores Todd, MD, was named chief health informatics officer of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health.

  22. Dale Gold, MD, was named chief medical informatics officer of  Kaiser Permanente Medical Foundation.
  23. Kevin Shorten was named vice president and chief information and technology officer of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, based in Santa Clarita, Calif.
  24. Divya Pathak was named vice president and chief data and artificial intelligence officer of New York City-based NYC Health + Hospitals.
  25. Neil Cowles was named chief information and technology officer of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.

  32. Shaun Miller, MD, was named chief health informatics officer officer of Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai.
  33. Lisa Stephenson, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing informatics officer of Cedars-Sinai.
